Until recently we had on occasion charged a fee of $250 + GST to add a new tenant to a Tenancy Agreement.
A recent tenancy ruling has made us aware that from 12 December 2019, the charging of ANY fee to tenants to cover costs is prohibited
Our records show that only 10 tenants were incorrectly charged and we will be reimbursing the affected parties accordingly.
We were mistaken in applying this fee and we apologise for this error.
We have now amended our processes to ensure that this mistake does not happen again.
