On Thursday 23rd February, we were lucky enough to have almost our full team together for a training and development day in Lower Hutt.
One of our core values is “always moving forward” and that includes taking some time to invest in our team to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills they need to do their jobs well while also improving their performance.
The morning kicked off with a year ahead summary from CEO Christian Casbolt, detailing where we are and where we are heading.
To enhance our property management services co-founder and international director of Protect Self Defence, Phil Thompson, gave our team a special training session providing them with confidence and communication skills alongside different strategies they will be able to implement when needed.
Joanne Rae, head of property management at REINZ, spoke about the regulation of property managers, upcoming legislation changes and updates and what the future could look like in our industry moving forward.
In the afternoon, we spent time with the team from CluedUp, where we competed against each other in a range of challenges - some not so easy!
All in all, a great day was had by all, and it was fantastic to be joined by our Hawke’s Bay colleagues.
